Schrock’s RV received its start in 1974 when Vacationaire Campers opened its doors for business near Loman MN. Founder William Schrock, wanting work for his seven sons, started building toppers and truck campers to keep the Schrock boys busy.
Through the years changes came. In time, a sawmill was added to the business and, for a few years, ATV trailers were built as well.
In the early 1990s Ivan Schrock took sole ownership of Vacationaire Campers. By 1997, Ivan moved the business to International Falls. Big changes took place with the move. Vacationaire no longer was manufacturing campers and instead focused on providing customers with quality travel trailers and fifth wheels when they expanded by becoming dealers for Sportsmen, New Vision, Hornet, and Starcraft RV products.
In 2002, Vacationaire Campers found itself with new owners and location. Sheridan Motors purchased Vacationaire and moved it to their auto dealership down the road.
Steve Schrock, who was then the general manager moved with the business to Sheridan Motors. He spent the next three years in parts and service. In 2005, Steve moved on to other interests.
In 2008, Steve returned to the International Falls area; at the same time Sheridan Motors was discontinuing the RV division.
In May of the same year, Steve and Stan Schrock formed a partnership offering RV service and general construction. Today Steve is the sole owner of Schrock’s RV Service
